There is no one way to become physically active and or lose weight. It is unique to each individual. What I have done with my previous athletes is have an overall game plan, then adjust to each person's needs. Life happens that causes you to not be able to workout some weeks and or adhere to your food plan. The core principle to my training and coaching philosophy is to 1. Work hard and try your best. 2. Believe in yourself and your capabilities 3. Enjoy what you are doing.
I love the spin bike because I can get both cardio and muscle training in a short period.
