In my experience, people who use the free information online to train themselves are more likely to hurt themselves, or use the wrong type of information and fail in their pursuit of goals. They end up quitting altogether. I use a real-life approach to training and "dieting" - there should be no such thing as a diet. I use the basic calories in, calories out basic method for weight loss, as well as regular daily activity. I'm realistic, supportive, and empathetic to people's situations.
My favorite workout is any combination of running and lifting - crossfit, HIIT, or circuit style.
My favorite healthy food is stir fry - simple but packed with flavor!
Tofu - I'm not a fan even though it's a great meatless option.
